E2 Interface is an industry standard interface (defined in J-STD-036) used between a Mobile Positioning Center (MPC/GMLC) and an ALI database server.

E2, E2+

In NENA-STA-018.2-2020, the use of the term E2 is in most ways synonymous with the de facto term E2+, although E2+ is not documented in ANSI/J-STD-036-C-2-2017.
