Shell Record is a partial record in the ALI database associated with a wireless or VoIP call. The key to a Shell Record is an ESRK (wireless) or ESQK (VoIP). The Shell Record is combined with the response from a MPC/GMLC or VPC to provide a complete record to the PSAP.
