VDB (Validation Database)

The VDB (Validation Database) contains information that describes the current, valid civic address space defined by the Emergency Services Network Provider’s MSAG. Validation against this database ensures that the address is a real address (i.e., the address exists) but does not ensure that it is the location of the caller.
