9-1-1 Authority

9-1-1 Authority is a State, County, Regional, or other governmental entity responsible for 9-1-1 service operations. For example, this could be a county/parish or other local government, a special 9-1-1 or Emergency Communications District, a Council of Governments, or other similar body.
