9-1-1 Authority

A State, County, Regional or other governmental entity responsible for 9-1-1 service operations. For example, this could be a county/parish or city government, a special 9-1-1 or Emergency Communications District, a Council of Governments or other similar body. (aka: Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), 9-1-1 Governing Authority, 9-1-1 Administrator)
