Call Set-up Time

In wireline telephony, Call Set-up Time is the amount of time between when a caller dials the last one (1) in 9‑1‑1 and the call is presented to the appropriate PSAP. In wireless and IP telephony, the amount of time between when a caller presses “send” (or equivalent) and the call is presented to the appropriate PSAP.
