ESZ (Emergency Service Zone)

ESZ (Emergency Service Zone) is a geographical area that represents a unique combination of emergency service agencies (e.g., Law Enforcement, Fire, and Emergency Medical Service) that is within a specified 9‑1‑1 governing authority’s jurisdiction. An ESZ can be represented by an Emergency Service Number (ESN) to identify the ESZ.
