NIF (NG9-1-1 Specific Interwork Function)

NIF (NG9-1-1 Specific Interwork Function) is the functional component of a Legacy Network Gateway or Legacy PSAP Gateway which provides NG9‑1‑1 specific processing of the call not provided by an off-the-shelf protocol interwork gateway.
