PIDF (Presence Information Data Format)

The PIDF (Presence Information Data Format) is specified in IETF RFC 3863. It provides a common presence data format for Presence protocols, and also defines a new media type. A presence protocol is a protocol for providing a presence service over the Internet or any IP network.
