Reference Material

NENA Reference Material is material that is published or presented by NENA and has these characteristics:

  • Approved by Development Steering Council (DSC) and may also be approved in an All-Committee review and/or an Authoring Committee approval ballot
  • Assigned a REF tracking number in the form NENA-REF-XXX.Y-yyyy, assuring that it was approved by NENA
  • May be published or presented in almost any format
  • Not an official NENA Information (INF), Requirements (REQ), or Standard (STA) document
